Marty Grate
Marty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska- Omaha and is a member of the Nebraska Water Environment Association, the American Public Works Association and serves on the Board of Directors for Keep Omaha Beautiful. He started his career with the Omaha Public Works Department nearly 30 years ago and has had experience with a variety of environmental programs and projects. His current responsibilities as the City’s Environmental Services Manager include administration of solid waste management, city facilities maintenance, air quality, wastewater services and stormwater.
